Privacy Policy

We collect information from you when you use or service, subscribe to our newsletter, respond to a survey, fill out a form or tell us stuff. As you know, we can tell a lot about you and your habits when you use the Internet and we do look hard to try and build a profile of you as a person. You can use our site www.tweepforce.co.uk anonymously to learn about the service and the advantages of using it.

Any of the information we collect from you may be used in any of the following ways:

  • We’ll use it to personalise your experience. We’ll get better and better at knowing that when you say “orange” you mean the fruit and not the colour. Or that Grammy is not an iPhone autocorrect misspelling of Granny.
  • We’ll use it to help shops understand what people around them are looking for. We will never, ever, tell them that “John was looking for some y-fronts” or “Henrietta was looking for some pizza on the Kings Road”. But we will tell them that “1,342 people look for cheap cocktails in Fulham on Saturday between 8 and 11 PM”
  • If we get really excited about something we will send you a @mention tweet. We will never do more than 1 tweet a week so you are kind of guaranteed that it will be something very special indeed. So, yes, we will spam you with a targeted 140 characters maximum of once a week. Oh, come on, that’s OK isn’t it?
  • If we have to tell you about important information that will affect the quality of the service, we will tweet the information to you via an @mention. As we hope never to have a problem with the service, we will probably never tweet you with an update. But this is technology and technology sometimes gets very shy and refuses to play with us.

No. Hurray.

No. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personally identifiable information. But if some big policeman or anyone who has a very large stick knocks on our door with the correct legal backup (we are really afraid of solicitors), we may release your information when we believe release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others rights, property, or safety.

Twitter is in compliance with the requirements of COPPA (Childrens Online Privacy Protection Act) and as you need a Twitter account to use our service, we do not collect any information from anyone under 13 years of age. Our website, products and services are all directed to people who are at least 13 years old or older. Protecting the privacy of young children is especially important. @tweepforce does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to register with the Service. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13 without verification of parental consent, we take immediate steps to permanently remove that information.

This is an online privacy policy and so only covers information collected through our service. Now that’s a statement a lawyer would be proud of. So, if we ever meet in a bar or airport lounge, got wasted and you tell us something about your personal life, we can spread that all over the world and this policy does not cover it.

By using our service, you consent to our online privacy policy. So there.

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on this page

If you are having problems sleeping and watching the shopping channels did not work, you may want to read the agonising full Terms and Conditions establishing the use, disclaimers, and limitations of liability governing the use of our service here.
